Narrow Stairs

On May 13, the beloved band, Death Cab for Cutie will release their 8th album, Narrow Stairs. The band promises a "curve ball", and, though it will have a number of slower songs, they are promising some surprises.   They released a single, I Will Possess Your Heart, which is an eight minute song with the first half instrumental and second half with Ben Gibbard's melodic voice.   It is also claimed that this will be a true test of Death Cab fans.  With an eight minute single, it is easy to assume that this album will be more for those who are musically mature versus ADD listeners who jump through extended song intros or skip halfway through songs because it is too long or repeats itself.  Overall, I think all much anticipate this highly acclaimed artist.
