Apple's amazing achievement from this new and improved was to create the new Macbook from one solid-aluminum unibody enclosure. It makes the Macbook thinner, lighter and more durable. The video on the Macbook shows this process of carving the body from one piece of alluminum. It is very impressive.
One of the coolest features I discovered was that there is no more distinct button below the mouse pad. Now the whole pad IS the button. No need to reach that thumb down there. Just click wherever you are!
Like the old Macbook, use two fingers on the pad to scroll up and down a page. Added to the Macbook from the Air - Pinch to zoom in and out, swipe with three fingers to flip through your photo libraries or rotate to adjust an image with your fingertips. There are two brand new features. One is the four-finger swipe: swipe up or down to access Exposé modes or swipe left or right to switch between open applications. The other is clicking with two fingers will replicate the "right click" feature.
Also like the Air - the keys light up so that you can see what you type no matter where you are!
It has also been upgraded with memory, RAM, and faster wireless technology.
