Henry Poole is Here

On Friday I went to the good 'ol dollar theater to see "Henry Poole is Here." I had previously seen the trailer and was skeptical to the story and quality of the film. I discovered that the great theater that it was being shown at was closing in a few days. This encouraged me to go see any movie before it closed and I decided to give this a try. I was amazingly suprised to find this to be an amazing film. Luke Wilson did a stellar job. The morals of the movie focused on overcoming trials in life and the importance of family in overcoming those trials. The cinemetography was beautiful and elequently enhanced by the music. I loved it. The film premiered January 21 2008 at the Sundane Film Festival and was a limited release this past summer.

New I-pod Nano

Here is the newest I-pod from Apple. I was very pleased to see them go to the more rectagular shaped i-pod versus the last sqaure-pod, which I thought was not their best design. This will be an oval shaped I-pod and is the thinnest I- pod yet. It will also have the accelerometer feature of the touch and I-phone where you can turn it sideways for cover flow. It will also have the new Genius feature found on I-tunes 8.0. Apple has also come out with new ear phones that have remote access adjust colume or switch the song without taking your I-pod out of your pocket.. Click here to buy one now!

You Are My Sunshine

The wonderful group known as Copeland will soon release their fourth album, You Are My Sunshine. It is due October 14 of this year. The album will feature a new bassist on the bitter sweet note that the old bassist left in pursuit of a carreer in Graphic design. The single for this album, "The Grey Man" was just released this week. This song shows some growth of this galant group. Aaron Marsh's vivid voice radiates clear as it ever has. I expect great things out of this album. It sounds like it will be fantastic. The national tour for this album is coming up. They will be touring with Lovedrug, Lydia, and Lights(who has been spotlighted on this blog previously). It has been about three years or so since I last saw Copeland. I am anticipating their show. Grey Man can be heard on Copeland's Myspace.
