Mac Attack

Son Of Rambow needed a bump I'm afraid. Happily it is replaced as the top post by something quite worthwhile: the announcement that I'm now gladly posting from my new macbook, and listening to Rilo Kiley on my new touch. Suffice it to say, I'm feeling pretty hip. Not just hip though. There is something indelibly artsy and avant garde about Macs that are almost indescribable to anyone who needs explaining. It seems that there is some stubbornness surrounding the PC world and an effervescent fluidity about Macs {you like how easily i'm converted-too many Mac ads online; hey-did you know there are Mac ads from the UK, they're highly entertaining!} Anyway, I'm thrilled. Forgive me the jealousy this may engage.
Hooray for the glimmery white sleekness of the future, and for the joy of opportunity.

Son of Ranbow!

I finally saw the film that I anticipated for so long. I saw the trailer for this film way back in January or February and became very excited to see it. It was release in select features in May, but was playing no where near where I was living. Finally it came to my local dollar theater. My already high expectations were exceeded by the film. For those of you unfamiliar with the film, it takes place in the late 80's in England. The story revolves around two young boys from opposite family backgrounds. Their personalities are the exact opposite, but they find friendship and a very interesting relationship evolves. They're friendship is christened as they make a movie for the national competition, "Screen Test." Conflict upon conflict arises as these two boys fight to make their movie and fight to find themselves in a world of confusion. The film is beautifully orchestrated with all aspects of the film working in harmony to tell the story. This has become one of my favorite movies filled with laughs, intensity and love. I would highly recommend this movie to all. Great film!

Imogen Heap

Most are quite aware and fond of the woman named Imogen Heap.  She dazzled us with Details under the name Frou Frou and then in under her own name in Speak for Yourself.  The wait for yet another work by this woman is soon to end.  Heap plans to release her third solo album in late September early October.  One song has been released and might or might not be on the new album, Not Now But Soon.  I am greatly anticipating this release and have hight hopes that it will be as amazing as those previous.
