On April 30, the single Violet Hill was released from Coldplay's upcoming album Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. Violet Hill contains distorted guitar riffs and bluesy undertones. It was made available free for download from their website for one week, until it becomes commercially available to download on May 6. Viva la Vida will be released the 16th of June. Some might be curious to the distinct album title. It is said that this album was heavily influenced from their tour of South and Central America.
