I saw the film "August Rush" this weekend at the dollar theater. It is a story of the journey of a musical prodigy in search for his two musical geniuses parents. One a Julliard Cellist, the other a talented Scottish guitar/vocalist who meet at a party and the music of life connects them with love. The prodigy is the product of their meeting, but is given up for adoption unknown by the mother by her controlling father. The story revolves around the prodigy who feels a connection with his parents through the music of life. This gives him hope in his orphan state to find them. The music in the movie is fantastic and moving. The story is a little weak and a bit unreal at times, but overall satisfying. It is a definite feel good movie. I advise you to watch it in a good mood otherwise you might come out of it saying, "Yeah right, like that would ever happen." Overall it was a good film and enjoyable for all ages.
